On behalf of Homo Sapiens we'd just like to say sorry for wiping you Neanderthals off the face of the earth from around 45,000 years ago. We totally and utterly apologise for being quite beastly to you and probably waging a genocidal campaign against you for a few thousand years or so. For that we are terribly sorry and we are now aware of our culpability and won't do it again, honest.

our behaviour was reprehensible and it is time we had a parliamentary investigation to decide review and decide on appropriate compensation payments.
