Move Along Now, Nothing to See Here

The Brazilian cleaner dances her way free from court.

I merely choose a number of paragraphs from the Guardian report. I impute nothing about the spotless reputations of the people involved in this case. Indeed they are as spotless as if a cleaner had come along and buffed them up, all bright and shiny.

"A Brazilian cleaner accused of blackmailing a female judge and stealing two sex videos from a male judge walked free from court today, after prosecutors announced they were dropping the case."

"This morning, however, prosecutor John Black QC, told the court that no evidence was being offered against Ms Driza, 37, because the two judges were now ill and there was no prospect of them giving evidence. "

I offer my condolences to the judges, who must indeed be very ill not to be able to give evidence in a case where alledgedly they were being blackmailed.

And so everyone leaves court with their characters as unsullied and as spotless as if they'd employed a special new cleaner to make everything sparkly and smell as fragrant as roses.

From the Wimbledon Guardian

"Speaking outside court today Ms Driza told reporters: "Justice has been done. I am very happy and very proud of God." [And I am sure he is of you darling]

The exact basis of her appeal can not be reported, but is believed to centre around new evidence."

She's cleaned up. A very polished performance, indeed.

And now she's off to complete her final year of her philosophy degree. What next? A law degree, taking silk, maybe? Roselane Driza QC, has a nice ring to it.
