What a Load of ASSisies

Assisi, the hometown of St Francis, the patron saint of the poor, if you go for that bunk, has banned the poor from begging near churches.

And lo this is a sign. The world starts to satirise itself.

But on the other hand it probably says more about tourism than religion as it is the town banning the poor. Tourism as always wants to trade on a name, a concept, a theme, god forbid you make contact, but it doesn't want to actually allow a place of tourism to be a living place.

The beggars upset the tourists who come to see the home of St Francis of Assisi, the saint of the poor, but they don't want to see the poor. Tourists; tourists are fucking Pigeons.

They flock around making stupid noises, eating crap they find on the streets they flock to and waddle around really slowly until they get a kick up the arse by an inhabitant of the poor sodding place the tourists are shitting over.

Tourists are bird-brained; see why now.
