if you think

about these dead souls that are gorging themselves at the trough too much then surely you will become the living dead too; they intone the mantras of consumption and obedience, deafening us with a wall of statistics, lauding freedom while stealing it away piece by piece. So in these times we have to think of the beautiful things in this world and protect them

thanks and play this

on a bit of a Paris jag this afternoon.

Paris is one of those beautiful women that you love with all your heart but you can never live with her because she maddens you so much. I left France because of the stultifying beauracracy, and now they're trying to introduce papiers here. But aside from the annoying cartesian frame of mind, the pharonic heaviness of the state living in Paris everyday was different, every day had a magic to them. It was a joy to wander through Paris. I love the film Amelie, that film pretty much sums up my 8 years in the city. Magic, beauty, love and destiny and the bizarre. This blog has loads of pictures of Paris and I walked past this sculpture pretty regularly. So be careful of words!
